At the strike of every midnight hour
Thou will come dressed in silken white lace
Thee will follow, dressed in finest of black
Each night to follow, meet the same place
We stand at the alter at the foot of our bed
Burning candles bathe us in amber light
The yearning of two souls filling the room
And the promise of forever begins to ignite

Thou with a heart spun in purest white light
Thee with a soul filled with shadows and dark
Somewhere in a void where these two collide
They flirted with magic and created a spark

Thee searched for vengeance for many a year
Thou for her Prince that never appeared
She softened his soul with each passing night
Till her Prince appeared made of whitest of light

He gave her a castle with tall gray stone walls
A handful of horses that filled up the stalls
A heaping of servants to carry out tasks
And fulfill all the things that the Princess would ask

But at the strike of every midnight hour
They made a promise each one would keep
To meet at their alter each and every night
Before they turned out their souls to sleep
They would seal their fate within their kiss
Each and every night it went like this-

"For we are blessed through the light,
We found each other that fateful night
For with every strike our midnight vows
To give my all with what Heaven allows"
